Clara Sipprell was a Canadian-American photographer known for her
landscapes and portraits of famous actors, artists, writers, and
scientists. Her early exhibitions were at the Buffalo Camera Club at a
time when membership was closed to women. Her first New York
show was at Teacher's College,Columbia University. Later she
opened a studio in Greenwich Village. She was a member of Pictorial
Photographers of America and other well known photographic
societies.

career in school administration. He received
education degrees from SUNY Brockport and
University of New York at Buffalo. He became vice
principal at Sperry High School and the following
year became principal of Rochester's Josh Lofton
High School. Jim's photographs have been
exhibited at City Hall's Link Gallery and Lumiere
Photo. The George Eastman House features his jazz
photos in it's West Gallery as part of it's permanent
collection
